We recently had the wonderful opportunity to be part of an enlightening educational event at the Frankston Football Club conference room, specifically designed for physiotherapists.
During this event Dr. Parminder J Singh gave a session, which was attended by 100 professional physiotherapists.
The session covered vital topics such as:
- Assessment of hip pain and hip arthritis
- The utility of hip arthroscopy in treating labral tears and symptomatic femoroacetabular impingement
- The emerging role of cooled radiofrequency ablation in managing early to moderate hip and knee arthritis
- Innovations in minimally invasive hip replacement surgery
Dr. Singh’s insights, particularly on minimally invasive techniques and their benefits in orthopaedic surgery, were a highlight. These discussions are critical as they equip physiotherapists with the latest knowledge to better assist their patients in recovery and pain management.
This event not only provided an opportunity for learning but also for practitioners to network and discuss the challenges and advancements in orthopaedic care. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the quality and relevance of the information shared.
